Sr Data Team Lead

IQVIA seeks an experienced and driven Sr Data Team Lead to lead clinical data management initiatives across India. The Opportunity

As a Senior Data Team Lead at IQVIA, you will take ownership of data management services spanning single and multi-service projects. You'll combine strategic oversight with hands-on expertise, ensuring your team delivers exceptional data quality on schedule and within agreed budgets. This role demands a leader who understands both the technical complexities of clinical data management and the business imperatives that drive client success. You'll be the bridge between operational excellence and customer satisfaction, championing best practices across your team and fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of data management services, managing timelines, quality standards, and resource allocation
• Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering skill development and maintaining high performance standards
• Collaborate closely with the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team to ensure data products meet client expectations and regulatory requirements
• Manage client relationships, addressing concerns and communicating progress transparently
• Establish and enforce data quality protocols and governance standards across projects
• Monitor project budgets and identify efficiency opportunities without compromising quality
• Contribute strategic input on data management methodologies and process improvements

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data management teams in a clinical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare setting
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical data management principles and best practices
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering on-time, on-budget results
• Excellent stakeholder and team leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of data governance, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance in life sciences
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, client-facing environments
