About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a unique builder role where you'll architect custom solutions, extend platform capabilities, and directly impact how healthcare providers leverage modern automation tools. You'll work at the intersection of customer needs and technical implementation, transforming requirements into production-ready code that solves real clinical workflow challenges.
This role partners closely with solutions consultants to prototype rapidly, validate technical approaches, and deliver robust solutions using an SDK platform. You'll contribute to platform evolution while building the technical bridge between customer requirements and scalable implementations.
Responsibilities
Technical Solution Development:
- Build production-ready solutions demonstrating mastery of event-driven architectures, handlers, and effects
- Transform product requirements into elegant, maintainable code that addresses healthcare workflow challenges
- Create robust plugins and integrations while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinical documentation standards
- Develop and maintain reusable components and patterns that accelerate future solution delivery
Platform Enhancement & Innovation:
- Identify SDK capability gaps and contribute directly to platform improvements through pull requests and feature development
- Design and implement new features that enable broader solution patterns across the customer base
- Build developer tools and utilities that improve efficiency for internal teams and external developers
- Create technical documentation, integration guides, and reference implementations for complex solutions
Cross-Functional Technical Leadership:
- Partner with solutions consultants to validate technical feasibility and architect optimal approaches
- Collaborate with core engineering teams to align custom solutions with platform roadmap and architectural standards
- Enable customer success through technical workshops, debugging sessions, and solution handoffs
- Mentor team members on technical concepts and best practices
What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of professional software development experience with modern web stacks
- Demonstrated ability to build end-to-end solutions from requirements to production deployment
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to navigate ambiguous technical challenges
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python (mandatory)
- JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React (bonus)
- Experience with API design, event-driven architectures, and plugin-based systems
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, testing practices, and code maintainability
- Comfort with rapid prototyping while maintaining production-quality standards
- Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows
Healthcare & Domain Expertise:
- Interest in healthcare technology and improving clinical workflows through automation
- Understanding of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7) or willingness to learn quickly
- Ability to translate clinical requirements into technical architecture decisions
- Appreciation for the complexity and criticality of healthcare systems
