Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine/Neurology Physician Reviewer to join their expert review team. This fully remote, independent contractor position offers the flexibility to customize your schedule while utilizing your medical expertise to conduct thorough clinical case reviews.

In this role, you will evaluate medical records, provide clinical summaries, engage in peer communications, and answer specific questions for the organization's clients. Your work will directly contribute to improving patient care through high-quality healthcare assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of clinical cases and medical records
• Prepare detailed clinical summaries based on case evaluations
• Engage in peer-to-peer communications with other medical professionals
• Respond to specific clinical questions posed by clients
• Participate in all required orientation and training sessions
• Maintain proper credentialing, state licenses, and certifications necessary to perform the role
• Ensure quality and timeliness of all reports and assessments

What We're Looking For

• Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Neurology (Dual Boarded required)
• Current, unrestricted Medical License
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining all necessary credentials and certifications
• Reliable internet connection and appropriate workspace for telework
