Responsibilities
Our talent team is representing a confidential retail technology organization seeking a Field Service Technician for the NRW region (postal codes 4xxxx-5xxxx). This is a direct-hire opportunity starting immediately, available in full-time or part-time (minimum 32 hours per week).
In this role, you will:
- Install, repair, and maintain AV equipment and voice alarm systems at client retail locations throughout your assigned territory
- Configure and commission playback and system technology
- Work independently from your home base, traveling to customer sites in your company vehicle
- Provide training and instruction to end users during initial installations
- Coordinate with the internal service team to ensure efficient scheduling and job planning
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field
- Broad knowledge of electrical systems, audio equipment, television technology, or IT products
- Experience with voice alarm systems or fire alarm control panels is highly valued
- A professional, service-oriented approach with strong customer interaction skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for technology, devices, and hands-on technical work
- Valid driver's license for regular travel within the region
