Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Service Technician for phGet A Job.ailtaic systems in Berlin. In this role, you will:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair phGet A Job.ailtaic systems, battery storage systems, electric vehicle charging stations, and associated electrical components
• Perform regular preventive maintenance including inspection of wiring, inverters, battery condition, and functionality testing
• Commission new installations and perform system updates: electrical configurations, grounding controls, inverter parameters, and generator ATS testing
• Execute both routine and unscheduled electrical work in the field
• Engage directly with customers to explain faults, identify solutions, and provide follow-up support
• Complete thorough documentation including service reports, photos, checklists, and materials used
• Provide emergency response and on-call service as needed
• Maintain strict compliance with German electrical standards (VDE 0100, VDE 0105, and grid operator processes)

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a qualified professional with:

• Completed technical training in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in electrical work, ideally with direct experience in phGet A Job.ailtaic systems, battery systems, or generators
• VDE certifications required
• Ability to read electrical schematics and confidently use professional measurement equipment
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (VDE 0100, VDE 0105, grid operator processes)
• Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to travel daily for field assignments
• Strong communication skills with customers and ability to work independently
• Physical ability to lift loads up to 25 kg
• Strict adherence to safety regulations (DGUV, PPE requirements)
• Certification for working at heights (optional but advantageous)
• Valid work authorization for the EU
