Trainee Online-Marketing-Manager/-in – Vollzeit (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency in Cologne seeking a Trainee Online Marketing Manager to support client campaigns and internal marketing initiatives. After comprehensive onboarding, you will become an expert in performance marketing and serve as a direct point of contact for clients on topics including Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, funnel architecture, online visibility, and long-term branding.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conceive, optimize, and manage advertising campaigns for diverse client brands
• Develop and manage internal marketing campaigns
• Oversee advertising budgets reaching six figures
• Collaborate closely with creative video teams to deliver high-performing video and image ads
• Create detailed reports and analyses of existing advertising campaigns
• Optimize strategies through targeted application of performance marketing best practices
• Maintain close communication with clients and provide regular feedback on campaign performance
• Monitor campaign success metrics and adjust tactics accordingly

What We're Looking For

• A completed vocational training or degree is helpful but not required
• Ability to follow established processes with precision
• Quick comprehension and high level of discipline
• Strong communication skills and empathetic approach to client relationships
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Excellent teamwork capabilities
• Clean, error-free written German language skills
• Prior experience in online marketing, agency work, coaching, or consulting is advantageous but not necessary
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn performance marketing strategies
