Founder Associate (gn) @ AI Venture, Berlin

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI infrastructure venture in Berlin that is building efficiency solutions for production AI systems. Our client is at pre-seed stage, recently closed funding in record time, and is now preparing their first customer pilots. They need a Founder Associate to work directly with leadership on commercial development and early-stage operations.

This is a full-time, in-office role (5 days per week in Berlin) with an immediate start date. You'll have rare access to foundational company-building work and direct exposure to how enterprise AI deals are structured and won.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the founder on shifting weekly priorities across commercial and operational tracks
• Research target markets and identify ideal customer profiles within enterprise software and technology companies
• Build prospect lists and execute outreach campaigns to technology companies in the DACH region
• Participate in customer conversations, document technical and commercial requirements, and refine positioning
• Learn customer AI infrastructure setups, cost structures, and quality requirements
• Establish CRM systems, tracking processes, and scalable workflows as customer volume increases
• Leverage AI tools throughout your workflow to maximize team output
• Prepare materials for customer meetings, investor updates, and partnership discussions
• Handle foundational operational work that hasn't yet been assigned

What We're Looking For

• Early-career professional with experience in startups, venture capital, consulting, or commercial roles (employment, internship, or entrepreneurial)
• Comfortable initiating conversations with unfamiliar contacts and engaging both commercial and technical stakeholders
• Clear, structured writing ability—can transform ambiguous input into coherent outputs
• Proficient with software tools and already using AI assistants effectively in daily work
• Interest in AI infrastructure, developer tools, or enterprise software with ability to learn technical products quickly
• Thrives in unstructured environments and creates your own frameworks for execution
• Fluent English required; fluent German is a strong advantage
• Motivated by high responsibility early in career and comfortable with ambitious timelines
