About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential managed IT services provider seeking a Service Desk professional for their Sobernheim location. This role goes beyond basic ticket routing—you'll analyze technical issues, work with modern Microsoft and cloud technologies, and support clients across diverse IT environments. Our client offers a collaborative team structure where you'll work alongside experienced engineers while developing your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
• Provide technical support to clients for IT problems and inquiries
• Analyze and document technical incidents and system disruptions
• Resolve standard issues within Microsoft environments
• Support administration of Microsoft and cloud platforms
• Collaborate with system engineers on complex technical matters
• Work according to defined processes and quality standards

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Completed IT apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience
• Initial professional experience in IT support or service desk roles
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems
• Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or networking
• Enthusiasm for analyzing technical problems
• Service-oriented and customer-focused mindset
• Independent and structured working style
• Excellent German language skills and good English proficiency

Preferred experience:

• Background in managed service provider (MSP) or IT services environments
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, Intune)
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Exposure to virtualization technologies (Hyper-V or VMware)
• ITIL knowledge or relevant certifications
• Valid Class B driving license
