Senior Video Lead

Brandtech+ is hiring a Senior Video Lead in Bogotá, Colombia to direct video post-production operations and lead a team of motion designers and video editors. In this full-time role, you'll establish quality standards for all video output, manage both traditional and generative AI workflows, and ensure every piece meets exacting brand requirements within accelerated delivery cycles.

About This Position

You'll oversee video post-production at our Bogotá creative studio, a dedicated production hub embedded within a leading healthcare education institution. Partnering with producers and creative leaders across our global network, you'll shepherd every project from editorial assembly through final delivery, maintaining rigorous quality across all formats and platforms. The studio delivers client-ready content in 48-hour windows—your leadership and creative judgment are essential to meeting that pace without compromising craft.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct the complete post-production workflow for all video content, including editing, color grading, audio mixing, and format-specific delivery specifications
• Build and mentor the Bogotá-based team of motion designers and video editors, providing constructive feedback and clear creative direction
• Define and enforce post-production quality standards covering color science, audio fidelity, motion consistency, graphic precision, and technical compliance
• Oversee generative AI video output (including Pencil), managing revision cycles to ensure visual coherence, narrative alignment, and brand consistency
• Coordinate with producers and creative directors across regions on scheduling, feedback loops, and delivery planning
• Maintain organized systems for video project files, assets, and archives
• Stay current with video editing technology, AI-assisted production tools, and emerging design techniques, bringing innovations to the studio
• Develop onboarding protocols, training standards, and quality benchmarks for new team members

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in video editing, post-production leadership, or editorial roles
• Expert-level proficiency with professional editing platforms—Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
• A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video work across social, long-form, motion graphics, or branded storytelling
• Proven track record leading or mentoring post-production or editing teams
• Working experience with generative AI video tools such as Runway, Pencil, or comparable systems
• Familiarity with motion graphics software (After Effects or similar) is advantageous
• Clear understanding of video technical specifications across web, social, broadcast, and streaming platforms
• Professional fluency in English; Spanish language skills are valued for this Bogotá position
• Formal degrees welcome but not required—relevant professional experience is what counts
