What This Role Involves
- Develop and maintain comprehensive user manuals, technical guides, and online help systems
- Create and update product documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and designers to gather requirements and provide technical support
- Conduct research to ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical information
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in technical writing
Core Duties
- Write and edit technical documentation to meet the needs of diverse audiences, including end-users, developers, and administrators
- Perform technical reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of technical content
- Develop and maintain a style guide to ensure consistency in writing style and tone across all documents
- Work closely with content managers and marketing teams to support marketing initiatives and product launches
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to enhance the quality and relevance of technical documentation
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the tech industry
- Strong understanding of technical writing principles and best practices
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on clarity and conciseness
- Experience with technical documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
