Senior Data Pipeline Engineer/Developer

Mydnainc is hiring a Senior Data Pipeline Engineer/Developer for a full-time remote position. This role is perfect for someone with strong expertise in building and optimizing data workflows who wants to make an impact across our organization's data infrastructure.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled data engineer who can architect and maintain robust data pipelines at scale. In this role, you'll own critical systems that move, transform, and deliver data reliably to teams across the company. You'll work independently and collaboratively to solve complex data challenges, mentor junior engineers, and establish best practices that shape how we handle data as we grow. This is a chance to have significant technical ownership and influence how our organization approaches data infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain production data pipelines that handle large volumes of data reliably and efficiently
• Optimize pipeline performance and reduce processing costs through thoughtful architecture and code optimization
• Troubleshoot production issues, implement monitoring and alerting, and ensure data quality standards are met
• Collaborate with data analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Lead technical decisions around tools, frameworks, and infrastructure for data processing
• Document systems thoroughly and mentor team members to strengthen overall data engineering capabilities

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience building and managing data pipelines in production environments
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and at least one major data processing framework (Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or equivalent)
• Proven ability to optimize data workflows and troubleshoot complex performance issues
• Experience designing data architecture and making sound decisions about tools and platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated commitment to code quality, testing, and documentation
