About This Position
At Arq, a rapidly growing fintech company, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java to join our dynamic team. Our mission is to revolutionize global financial interactions by building scalable and secure backend systems that support innovative products.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performing backend systems using Java 25 and Spring Boot.
- Create REST APIs and microservices for various business-critical applications such as card payments, treasury management, transactions booking, and crypto liquidity.
- Collaborate with a talented team to deliver complex projects that drive financial inclusion.
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in backend development with fluency in Java.
- Bachelor's Degree (or above) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or other Engineering/Science disciplines.
- Ambitious and results-driven personality with excellent communication skills (English fluency, verbal and written).
- Quick learner with a focus on clean code, maintainability, TDD, DDD, and continuous integration & delivery.
