Senior Security Consultant (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology consultancy seeking a Senior Security Consultant to lead Microsoft security implementations for enterprise clients. In this role, you will independently design, advise on, and implement comprehensive security solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. You'll serve as the trusted advisor for complex client projects, guiding initiatives from initial concept through final delivery.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Independently conceptualizing, consulting on, and implementing Microsoft security solutions for client environments
• Acting as the primary point of contact for complex client security projects across all project phases
• Continuously defining best practices and technical standards within the security practice
• Maintaining close technical dialogue with Microsoft on solutions, workshop formats, and partnership opportunities
• Actively shaping and expanding the security service portfolio
• Mentoring junior colleagues and sharing your expertise across the team

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings demonstrable, multi-year professional experience in IT security environments. You possess deep expertise in at least one Microsoft security pillar: Identity & Access Protection, Threat Protection, Information Protection, Endpoint Security, or Security Monitoring.

Required qualifications:

• Several years of proven experience in IT security consulting or implementation
• Advanced knowledge in at least one Microsoft security domain
• Foundational understanding of Microsoft infrastructure technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, and hybrid identity architectures
• Genuine passion for IT security topics and staying current with evolving threat landscapes
• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
