About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join their remote team. This is an opportunity to architect and deliver enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions that directly impact thousands of users across customer-facing and operational workflows. You'll take technical ownership of the platform, mentor developers, and shape engineering standards in a cross-functional environment focused on scalability and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and maintain Salesforce solutions across Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components, and data models with full ownership from design through release
  • Build secure, scalable architectures applying clean code principles, testability standards, and performance best practices
  • Design and optimize Lightning Web Components with strong performance, thoughtful interaction patterns, and focus on usable experiences
  • Implement robust security concepts including profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and field-level security aligned with Salesforce security models
  • Design and implement integrations via REST and SOAP APIs, platform events, and connectors with resilient patterns and thorough error handling
  • Build within Salesforce governor limits while enforcing best practices for bulkification, caching, transaction management, and async processing
  • Define and champion platform standards, coding conventions, and design guidelines as a technical authority
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers through pair programming, knowledge sharing, and practical guidance
  • Collaborate with Product, Data, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs
  • Establish expectations for unit and integration testing to maintain reliable coverage supporting safe delivery
  • Strengthen platform observability through documentation, architectural decision records, and knowledge sharing

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments with proven impact at scale
  • Advanced proficiency in Flows and deep expertise in Apex and object-oriented programming
  • Strong Lightning Web Components experience including lifecycle management, reactivity, performance optimization, and UI/UX best practices
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security and sharing models with ability to design for least-privilege access
  • Proven integration skills connecting Salesforce to external systems via REST, SOAP, OAuth, and credential management
  • Consistent application of best practices for governor limits, bulkification, transactions, async processing, and error handling
  • Fluent use of Git, pull requests, and hands-on experience with CI/CD for Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce DX, GitHub Actions)
  • Clear communication skills in English with ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Nice to have: German language skills, Salesforce certifications (PD I, PD II, Architect track), experience with managed packages, platform events, and ETL tools
