About the Role

Joining N26's Regulatory Reporting Team in Berlin, you will serve as a foundational expert within a precision-driven, compliance-focused group. As Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager, you'll own the complete delivery of intricate regulatory frameworks, guide a group of data analysts and specialists, and protect N26's regulatory standing while the business pursues high-impact growth. We're seeking a recognised authority in banking regulation with more than a decade of hands-on operational and technical depth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reporting delivery — compiling, reviewing, and submitting regulatory reports across monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and yearly cycles with complete accuracy.
• Take charge of complex COREP, FINREP, statistical, and national reporting, with particular emphasis on liquidity reporting and capital requirements under Basel Pillar 1 and Pillar 3.
• Serve as the lead point of contact for internal and external auditors, steering audits and remediation efforts.
• Act as the regulatory gatekeeper for new company initiatives and product innovations.
• Partner with Data and IT teams to enhance data pipelines, map interface descriptions, and automate processes within N26's core reporting engine (BAIS).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of operational experience in regulatory reporting at a licensed bank or financial institution.
• A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Engineering, or a banking education with advanced specialised qualifications, plus a thorough command of a bank's balance sheet.
• Authoritative knowledge of European banking and financial legislation, including CRR III, CRD VI, KWG, and AnaCredit.
• Extensive hands-on work with regulatory reporting software — ideally BAIS or equivalents such as Abacus/Regnology — alongside strong data skills and expert-level Excel.
• A proven record of liaising directly with authorities and managing rigorous external audit cycles.
• A natural affinity for where financial regulation meets IT, including building data pipelines and leading complex regulatory transition projects.
