About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential AI-powered SaaS company that is reimagining enterprise finance software. Our client is a well-funded startup operating at exceptional velocity, and they need a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to establish and lead their QA function during a critical growth phase.
This is a remote role available across EU and LATAM regions, requiring 4+ hours of overlap with US Eastern Time.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead QA practices for an AI-native web application from the ground up
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering UI, API, and third-party integrations
- Build and maintain test case management systems and reporting infrastructure
- Collaborate directly with engineering, product, and leadership to embed quality across the development lifecycle
- Own bug reporting, triage prioritization, and release validation processes
- Lay the groundwork for automated testing frameworks and CI/CD integration
- Champion user empathy and incorporate customer feedback to drive product reliability
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of software QA experience focused on SaaS or web applications
- Proven track record in high-growth, fast-moving startup environments
- Deep expertise in UI and API testing methodologies
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (Jira) and test management platforms (TestRail or similar)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress
- Knowledge of performance testing and database testing approaches
- Strong product intuition and ability to think critically about testability
- Excellent English communication skills (C1 level)
- High agency, ownership mindset, and ability to thrive in high-velocity environments
- Nice to have: programming experience, React familiarity, SQL/Postgres knowledge, prior SaaS QA leadership

Compensation
Our client offers a B2B contract structure with a base salary range of $40,000–$85,000 plus significant equity participation. The role includes 15 PTO days, 12 public holidays, learning and development budget, remote work setup support, wellness perks, and potential visa sponsorship for relocation to NYC within 2+ years.
