About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is building modern, cloud-native solutions for critical public health programs. Our client is seeking a Senior Professional Software Engineer to join their distributed engineering team working on secure, scalable applications that serve vulnerable populations across the United States.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai will guide you through the entire process, from initial screening through client submission and offer negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Develop React/TypeScript micro-frontends and.NET 10/C# microservices, including serverless services and contract-first REST APIs
• Build multi-tenant capabilities using tenant isolation, configuration-driven behavior, feature flags, and coordinated API, UX, and schema versioning
• Develop PostgreSQL solutions and AWS workloads leveraging Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, Glue/Spark, MSK/Kafka, and EKS patterns
• Implement REST, event, queue, batch, and managed file-transfer integrations, including adapters for required SOAP/WCF interfaces
• Create Terraform and CI/CD assets for automated build, test, security scanning, deployment, rollback, and environment promotion
• Implement automated tests, observability, secure logging, code review, vulnerability remediation, and production-readiness controls
• Design, build, test, and operate secure software using cloud-native engineering practices and approved AI coding tools

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript development skills
• React and modern API experience preferred
• Experience delivering enterprise applications, integrations, or cloud-native services
• Medicaid/MMIS/MES experience is a strong plus
• Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven design, and secure coding practices
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs
• Occasional travel may be required (0-10%)
• Video camera must be used during interviews and initial onboarding
