About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential marketplace technology organization in Sydney, Australia, seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their commercial monetization strategy. This role owns pricing, packaging, and subscription upgrade experiences that directly impact monthly recurring revenue and business growth.

You will shape the commercial engine of a two-sided marketplace, leading how service providers engage with subscription tiers and add-on products. Your work will be visible at the senior leadership level, with scope to build a repeatable value-capture framework for the coming fiscal years.

Responsibilities

  • Own the upgrade and add-on experience end-to-end, driving monthly recurring revenue against defined targets
  • Lead subscription pricing strategy and package architecture—determining what's included in each tier, pricing levels, and migration paths between tiers
  • Validate and prioritize the highest-impact pricing and packaging opportunities, starting with entry-level segments, and launch the first proven initiative
  • Build a repeatable experimentation and optimization engine for identifying, testing, and scaling new sources of customer value
  • Run a disciplined A/B testing practice with clear hypotheses, sound methodology, and rigorous significance analysis that stakeholders can trust
  • Integrate AI tooling into your workflow and the team's evaluation process, maintaining cost-awareness from the outset
  • Report results and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in Product Management, including experience shipping production software with cross-functional teams in marketplace, B2C, or monetization contexts
  • Demonstrated ownership of pricing, packaging, or subscription products with measurable impact on revenue, MRR, or value per customer
  • Strong experimentation track record—you've designed and executed A/B tests where methodology rigor and financial outcomes mattered, and you can clearly explain your statistical significance decisions
  • Fluency with data tooling (Databricks or equivalent) sufficient to answer your own product questions independently
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen with the ability to think clearly under ambiguity
  • Experience working in or with two-sided marketplaces is highly valued
  • Comfort operating in a hybrid work environment in Sydney CBD
