About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise data platform organization in their search for a Senior Partner Solution Engineering Manager. This is a strategic leadership role where you'll drive the adoption of cutting-edge data solutions through critical technology alliances with major cloud providers, system integrators, and technology partners.

In this position, you'll lead a talented team of partner solutions engineers while managing high-impact relationships with partners across the data and cloud ecosystem. You'll combine technical depth with business acumen to accelerate cloud-native adoption and deliver AI-driven data solutions that solve complex enterprise challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Partner Solutions Engineers, fostering strategic relationships with technology partners and key alliances
• Drive technology alliances strategy, managing joint go-to-market and co-engineering initiatives with major partners including cloud service providers, system integrators, and ISVs/IHVs
• Design and deliver winning solutions that address complex customer problems, presenting technical vision and business outcomes to stakeholders from developers to C-level executives
• Move prospects through the sales pipeline to close deals through RFPs, hands-on labs, proof of concepts, and technical wins
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales plays focused on acquiring new logos
• Work closely with partners to develop joint solutions addressing customer needs and market opportunities
• Serve as the voice of partners internally, providing market and product feedback to influence product direction and roadmap strategy
• Provide strategic support and build key leadership relationships across internal and external stakeholders
• Act as a technology evangelist through external thought leadership including blogs, industry events, and community engagement

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience building, leading, and managing high-performing solution engineering or alliances teams
• Strong experience with System Integrators (working with firms to build, deliver, or monetize joint offerings)
• Experience collaborating with Software and Hardware Partners on co-engineering and solution certification
• Good understanding of hyperscaler cloud architectures and ability to collaborate with cloud service providers
• Experience managing joint business initiatives, including co-sell programs and marketplace integrations
• Strong foundation in the Big Data ecosystem (Spark, Hive, Impala) and modern data management principles, including separate storage and compute environments
• Technical fluency with Infrastructure (Kubernetes), common programming languages (Java/.NET/Python), and SQL
• Four-year degree (Bachelor's) from an accredited university
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior experience driving system integrator joint go-to-market strategies or establishing cloud partnership programs
• Solution Architecture/Engineering experience with hands-on technical skills including whiteboarding and demonstrating business value
• Familiarity with GenAI and traditional AI concepts from a pre-sales perspective
• Experience with streaming technologies or NoSQL databases

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai is based on the role requirements and your experience. Our client has indicated the following base salary ranges by location:

• California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Washington: $180,000 - $225,000

Sales roles are eligible for commission plan, while non-sales roles are eligible for corporate incentive plan. Comprehensive benefits package included.
