Senior Partner Sales Manager – Global System Integrator (GSI)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential open-source software organization in their search for a Senior Partner Sales Manager focused on Global System Integrator (GSI) partnerships. This is a remote position open to candidates worldwide.

Our client is seeking an experienced alliance professional to drive strategic relationships with GSI partners, facilitate solution sales cycles, and expand market presence across partner organizations. You will work closely with partner teams at all levels—from engineers to the C-suite—managing business development, enablement, and executive engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with GSI partners at multiple organizational levels
• Drive partner sales cycles and increase solution attach rates through partner channels
• Negotiate contracts and establish commercial business terms with partners
• Lead customer workshops and sales events focused on digital transformation initiatives
• Coordinate executive-level engagements between partners and leadership
• Collaborate with marketing, sales engineering, and product teams to achieve targets
• Represent partner interests and provide feedback to internal stakeholders
• Deliver public presentations and participate in industry events
• Travel up to 40% of the time, including international travel

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in alliance management or indirect sales roles
• Deep technical knowledge of Linux, cloud technologies, OpenStack, virtualization, and containers
• Proven understanding of GSI sales models and organizational structures
• Strong background in open-source software selling models and ecosystems
• Autonomous, hands-on approach with a results-driven mentality
• Ability to identify customer gaps, capture requirements, and create opportunities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments with ambitious goals
• Passion for open-source technology and enterprise solutions
