(Senior) Paid Social Manager (w/m/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential digital marketing agency in Berlin that is building out its paid social advertising capabilities. This is a unique hybrid role combining business development, client strategy, and hands-on campaign management. You'll help scale social advertising as a core service line while working directly with diverse clients across industries.

We're looking for someone with agency-side experience who can think strategically, sell consultatively, and execute campaigns that deliver measurable results. This role requires fluent German and strong English.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the paid social service offering as a scalable business unit
• Drive new client acquisition through inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and referrals
• Develop customized campaign and growth strategies based on client objectives
• Lead consultative sales conversations and advise prospects on paid social opportunities
• Launch, manage, and scale paid social campaigns across multiple clients and industries
• Provide strategic consulting primarily on Meta platforms, with additional channels as needed
• Analyze campaign performance and implement data-driven optimizations
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
• Collaborate with sales, customer success, and performance marketing teams

What We're Looking For

• Several years of hands-on experience building and managing paid social accounts on the agency or consulting side
• Proven track record developing, launching, and optimizing paid social campaigns—not just managing existing accounts
• Deep understanding of how different strategies align with various business models and target audiences
• Education or degree with a focus on online marketing
• Extensive experience with Meta advertising; familiarity with additional platforms is a plus
• Background providing strategic consulting to clients and supporting sales or pitch processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage campaigns for multiple clients simultaneously
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Confident presence and strong communication skills for client-facing interactions
• Fluent German and good English, both written and spoken
• Nice to have: experience leading teams and passion for digital products
