Senior MES Developer (.NET / Manufacturing Systems) – 2807

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential manufacturing technology organization seeking a Senior MES Developer to join a long-term enterprise modernization initiative. This remote position is based in Mexico and focuses on bridging Information Technology and Operational Technology in complex manufacturing environments.

You'll work on mission-critical systems that connect shop-floor operations with enterprise platforms, modernizing legacy applications and building integrations that enable real-time manufacturing data flow.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modernize Manufacturing Execution Systems applications using C# and.NET technologies
• Migrate legacy VB.NET and ASP applications to modern.NET frameworks
• Build integration layers connecting MES platforms with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), SCADA systems, PLCs, and warehouse management solutions
• Develop solutions for real-time manufacturing data collection from machine controls, OPC servers, and shop-floor equipment
• Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL Server and Oracle database solutions including stored procedures, triggers, and reporting services
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews and mentoring development teams on best practices
• Create technical documentation, specifications, and architecture designs for manufacturing system initiatives
• Support production-critical systems ensuring high availability and minimal manufacturing downtime

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in C#,.NET, and VB.NET
• Hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in discrete or continuous manufacturing environments
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Oracle databases
• Proven experience integrating MES platforms with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle
• Working knowledge of OPC DA/UA, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and MSMQ
• Experience with Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of OT/IT convergence and industrial automation environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Advanced English proficiency required
• Valid U.S. Visa highly preferred

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
