Senior Manager, Sales Engineering

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise security organization seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Engineering based in South Korea. In this leadership role, you will:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing sales engineering team to design and present comprehensive technical solutions throughout the entire sales cycle
• Partner with regional directors, product teams, and account executives to close strategic opportunities and drive revenue growth
• Recruit, develop, and retain top sales engineering talent within your geography
• Collaborate with sales leadership and customers to architect and present business solutions that address complex security challenges
• Provide strategic market feedback to influence product development and enhancement roadmaps
• Support account executives through technical qualification, discovery, and proof-of-value phases
• Enable your team to deliver high-quality demonstrations and technical presentations

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a seasoned sales engineering leader with:

• 15+ years of presales or sales engineering experience in enterprise software or security solutions
• 3-5 years of experience managing and leading sales engineering teams
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies with experience positioning AI-driven solutions
• Proven ability to enable teams in delivering compelling product demonstrations and technical solutions
• Expert-level experience refining sales engineering processes including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-value methodologies
• Track record of operating effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias toward action
• Strong collaboration skills with ability to work cross-functionally across sales, product, and engineering teams
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on delivering outcomes and customer impact
• Commitment to continuous learning and team development through coaching and feedback

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience leading teams in demonstrating enterprise AI/ML solutions
• Background presenting complex technical solutions at industry conferences and forums
• Recognition as a thought leader through participation in regional industry events
