Senior Manager, Machine Learning

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential interactive entertainment technology client seeking a Senior Manager, Machine Learning to lead advanced research and development in visual computing. In this leadership role, you will:

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of machine learning engineers and researchers focused on neural-assisted game rendering technologies
• Coordinate the build, prototyping, development, and integration of cutting-edge visual computing solutions
• Manage project timelines and ensure delivery of high-quality work across multiple initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in game rendering and streaming systems
• Align team objectives with broader organizational strategic goals while balancing ongoing projects with continuous improvement
• Build partnerships and establish trusted relationships with collaborators across the organization
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment through coaching and mentoring team members

• Demonstrated ability managing high-performance research teams in machine learning or graphics

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive experience in intelligent systems, visual computing, real-time graphics processing, or game engine rendering
• Proficiency in C++, Python, OpenGL, and DirectX
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks applied to visual computing
• Knowledge of advanced neural network architectures for image analysis and video processing (diffusion models, transformers, distribution alignment)
• Understanding of game rendering pipelines, ray tracing/path tracing, and machine learning methods for global illumination, frame interpolation, and super-resolution
• Experience with game engines such as UE5 or similar platforms

Education & Background:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience (advanced degrees a plus)
• Current knowledge of latest trends in machine learning, computer vision, and game engine rendering
• Experience in the interactive entertainment industry or related field highly desirable
