Senior Indirect Procurement Category Manager – Marketing (All Genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Senior Indirect Procurement Category Manager focused on Marketing categories. In this role, you will:

• Own end-to-end marketing sourcing activities including supplier market mapping, RFx execution, negotiation, and contract award for high-value projects across categories such as offline media, online media, influencer marketing, sponsorships, and retail media
• Develop category strategies for different marketing spend areas in alignment with business objectives
• Create, align, and execute a sourcing roadmap with key stakeholders across headquarters and regional markets to deliver P&L savings and overall procurement value
• Develop and optimize the supplier portfolio across multiple international markets
• Cultivate and manage close relationships with senior business partners within marketing functions to support their objectives and growth initiatives
• Lead the implementation of procurement processes and tools to increase maturity and efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in marketing procurement or in marketing with a commercial focus
• Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology, category management, and supplier management
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Proven track record of taking ownership: identifying problems early and driving resolution independently without waiting to be directed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing and delivering presentations and reports for senior audiences
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build trust and credibility with business partners at different levels
• Able to thrive in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
• Fluent business English required
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin, Germany
