Senior Finance Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential food-delivery organization seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their Europe Accounting team in London. In this role, you will lead critical aspects of financial reporting and accounting operations during a period of significant growth and integration.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Drive Reporting Excellence: Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring all financial reporting deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with headquarters requirements.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee the review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy.
• Process Transformation: Identify process gaps and implement scalable controls to strengthen financial governance and shorten close cycles across Europe.
• Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Operations and regional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve data quality.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audit requests while maintaining comprehensive documentation for key accounting processes and SOPs.

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a qualified finance professional with:

• Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accountancy qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualified experience.
• Technical Depth: Significant post-qualification experience within a complex, fast-paced financial environment, ideally with a focus on group reporting.
• System Proficiency: Strong understanding of NetSuite (or equivalent ERP systems) and financial reporting tools.
• Stakeholder Influence: Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders across different regions and functions.
• Adaptability: A proactive mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in an evolving global business environment.
