Senior Design Manager, Grab Support

About This Position

We're seeking an experienced design leader to shape the future of Grab Support's digital experience. In this role, you'll oversee the strategic direction of design initiatives across our support platforms, leading a team of talented designers while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and customer support stakeholders. You'll drive design excellence, establish design standards, and ensure every user interaction reflects Grab's commitment to simplicity and reliability. Based in Singapore, you'll contribute to products used by millions of customers daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Develop and execute the design strategy for Grab Support products, from conception through launch and iteration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, engineers, and support specialists—to understand user needs and translate them into elegant, intuitive designs
• Establish and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across platforms
• Conduct user research and leverage data insights to inform design decisions and validate hypotheses
• Manage design resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining high standards of quality

Requirements

• Significant experience in design with a proven track record in leadership or a senior role
• Demonstrated expertise in designing consumer-facing or enterprise products
• Strong background in UX/UI design, interaction design, and information architecture
• Portfolio showcasing design thinking, problem-solving, and visual excellence
• Experience leading and mentoring design teams
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities
