Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data and AI consulting firm for a Senior Data Analyst position based in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. In this role, you will transform business operations through effective data collection, processing, and visualization, serving as a trusted advisor for stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Framing use cases with business teams, validating data availability, and defining analytical approaches
• Designing and implementing dashboards, data products, and pipelines that drive business decision-making
• Translating business requirements into scalable analytics architectures and pipelines
• Applying modern analytics engineering practices and promoting best practices in data modeling and testing
• Leveraging generative AI developments to deliver maximum value for clients
• Extracting valuable insights and communicating them in clear, actionable terms
• Building strong relationships with client stakeholders and acting as a go-to expert for analytics guidance
• Mentoring junior data analysts and sharing best practices through workshops and documentation
• Contributing to internal accelerators and maintaining active technology watch

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with deep expertise in at least one specialized domain, combined with openness to work across others:

Core Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a data-driven environment
• Strong expertise in at least one of the following domains:
  • Dashboarding & Data Visualization: Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or Superset
  • Analytics Engineering: dbt, with experience on BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks
  • Marketing Analytics & Measurement: CDP platforms (Treasure Data, Hightouch, Tealium), MMM, attribution, clean rooms
  • Low-Code/No-Code Data Science: Dataiku, Copilot Studio, or similar platforms
• Solid foundation in SQL and Python
• Familiarity with Git and software engineering fundamentals (versioning, testing, code quality)
• Experience working in cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
• Fluency in French and English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with generative AI applied to analytics (MCP for BI, conversational data interfaces)
• Exposure to multiple analytics domains
• Knowledge of statistics and machine learning fundamentals
