About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential client in the FMCG sector for a Senior Content Manager role based in London, England, United Kingdom. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract offering the opportunity to lead content strategy across multiple digital platforms and drive commercial outcomes through best-in-class content execution.
In this role, you'll own the content strategy across key publishing platforms and lead the workflows that bring product launches and ongoing content initiatives to life. You'll serve as the strategic link between brand, marketing, and creative teams, bringing both high-level thinking and hands-on execution to every project.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement content strategy that serves commercial objectives, including A/B testing plans for ecommerce product pages
- Lead end-to-end content management across publishing platforms: case raising, set-up, upload, editing, amendments, and ongoing maintenance
- Serve as project lead for new product development content creation, development, and publishing to ensure best-in-class product launches
- Manage content execution projects from scoping and asset review through to proposal creation and creative team alignment
- Ensure all published content is accurate, on-brand, and error-free across every channel and platform
- Collaborate with product, brand, and marketing teams to align content with strategic requirements and brand guidelines
- Partner with copywriters and designers to produce visually rich, copy-strong content within best practice frameworks
- Use data and commercial insight to inform content decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Monitor team workflows and content management processes, ensuring adherence to agreed standards and timelines
- Build proactive working relationships across the business, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in content management, spanning strategy development, platform publishing, and end-to-end project delivery
- Hands-on proficiency with Brandbank, Amazon Vendor Central, and PIM platforms
- Experience managing content projects including scoping, briefing, asset review, proposal creation, and creative team alignment
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and their application to product content and digital channels
- Strong editing and proofreading skills with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
- Track record of leading, mentoring, and inspiring small creative teams
- Collaborative working style with ability to build effective relationships across brand, product, and marketing functions
- Data-informed approach to decision-making with understanding of how commercial priorities shape content strategy
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain quality under shifting timelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Planner
- Experience within the alcohol, beverage, or FMCG sector is desirable
- Advanced use of generative AI tools to enhance content output, workflow efficiency, and publishing quality
- Experience designing AI-assisted workflows for yourself and your team
- Ability to guide others on effective, responsible AI tool usage within a content context
- Strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, with rigorous human oversight applied to all published content
