About the Role

This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide strategic legal counsel on health and welfare matters to clients across industries. You'll tackle intricate compliance challenges, advise on benefits plan design and administration, and contribute to shaping how organizations approach employee welfare strategy.

What You'll Do

• Deliver expert legal counsel on employee health benefits, retirement plans, and wellness programs
• Navigate regulatory requirements and ensure client compliance with federal and state benefits law
• Review and analyze benefits-related contracts and documentation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including benefits consultants and technology specialists
• Stay informed of evolving legislation and regulatory guidance affecting health and welfare benefits
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the firm's thought leadership

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to the bar
• Demonstrated expertise in health, benefits, or welfare law
• Strong analytical and legal research capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with clients in a consulting environment, preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
