Maintenance Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Pinch A Penny, an established leader in pool and spa maintenance supplies based in Clearwater, Pinellas County, is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for second shift operations. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead a maintenance team while working a focused 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM schedule, Monday through Thursday.

Position Summary

As Maintenance Supervisor on the 2nd shift, you'll oversee all maintenance operations at our Suncoast Chemicals facility on 62nd Street in Clearwater. You'll be responsible for keeping production equipment running smoothly, managing your team's daily workflow, ensuring workplace safety standards are met, and coordinating preventive maintenance schedules that minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team during the second shift (2:30 PM – 12:30 AM, Monday–Thursday)
• Inspect equipment and systems to identify issues requiring repair or replacement
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance work to avoid unexpected equipment failures
• Document maintenance activities and create detailed reports for management
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all work meets OSHA standards
• Train team members on equipment operation and maintenance best practices
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate urgent repairs

Requirements

• Proven supervisory experience in a maintenance or industrial setting
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and systems
• Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and scheduling
• Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to accident prevention
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Willingness to work the Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM–12:30 AM shift
