(Senior) Consultant SAP MDG (m/w/d) Master Data Governance

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting organization that serves leading industrial enterprises across manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, and chemical sectors. Our talent team is currently seeking a (Senior) Consultant SAP MDG to join their Master Data Management practice in Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland.

This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale SAP implementations where professional Master Data Management serves as the foundation for sustainable, efficient solution operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution-oriented process consulting for large and mid-sized industrial companies with focus on master data management in manufacturing environments
• Design, architect, and implement enterprise solutions for master data management using SAP MDG and complementary MDM products
• Develop concepts and strategies for continuous improvement of master data products and frameworks
• Take on sub-project leadership responsibilities for MDM workstreams in national and international SAP projects
• Conduct feasibility studies and deployment assessments
• Support internal knowledge building and contribute to competence center development
• Assist in business development activities, proposal preparation, and customer engagement for future projects
• Deliver workshops and training sessions to client teams
• Mentor junior consultants and team members progressing toward senior roles

What We're Looking For

• University degree in business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering, or comparable qualification
• Proven experience in end-to-end implementation of MDM solutions, ideally incorporating SAP MDG or other leading MDM technologies
• Strong knowledge of data quality, data cleansing, and data harmonization/consolidation techniques
• Excellent understanding of complete value chains and business/logistical relationships within enterprises
• Several years of experience in Master Data Management or in designing and executing SAP ERP projects (preferably in master data management or logistics domains)
• Experience with data migration and system transitions highly valued (e.g., system landscape optimization, mergers/splits, SAP data migration and conversion)
• Independent and proactive working style with analytical and conceptual thinking capabilities
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
• Fluency in both German and English required
