Senior Clinical Trial Manager – Oncology (Europe)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential contract research organization seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Manager - Oncology to lead site management teams across Europe, based in Poland. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee complex oncology trials and drive patient-focused clinical research at scale.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to clinical site management team members from study start through closure
• Oversee regional CTMs and coordinate efforts across the CTM team
• Represent site management at sponsor, investigator, and bid defense meetings as the main point of contact
• Contribute to overall project plans by formulating global monitoring strategies for site initiation, enrollment, management, and closeout phases
• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with Clinical Monitoring Plans, including budgets, study tools, and site visit reports
• Train and manage CRA teams on all clinical aspects of assigned studies
• Participate in development and implementation of recruitment strategies across countries and sites
• Forecast site visits with CRA teams to ensure staffing needs are met and backlog is appropriately addressed
• Perform co-monitoring visits where required and review trip reports according to SOPs
• Support the study team during inspections by healthcare authorities or sponsor audits
• May assume dual PM/CTM role when needed and act as mentor for CTMs

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• Four-year college curriculum or equivalent with major concentration in biological, physical, or health studies and minimum 4 years as a Senior Clinical Research Associate (or equivalent), OR
• Two-year college curriculum or equivalent education/training (nursing degree or life science degree preferred) and minimum 6 years as a Senior Clinical Research Associate
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience as a CTM/LCRA (or equivalent) including overseeing a CTM team
• Oncology study experience is required for this role
• Willingness to travel regularly

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English and local language
• Ability to lead and motivate remote teams effectively
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills with solution-oriented approach
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to interact professionally with sponsor contacts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC Systems
