What This Role Involves
This position is central to our enterprise-wide improvement strategy. You will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, align stakeholders around improvement objectives, and translate strategic priorities into measurable business results. At the enterprise level, you'll assess and enhance operational capabilities, identify performance gaps, and establish sustainable systems that maintain quality standards and deliver enduring business value.
What You'll Do
- Lead strategic improvement initiatives that strengthen operational integration, resource utilisation, and capability development across the organisation.
- Identify and execute process improvements using continuous improvement frameworks and LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Drive adoption of solutions that enhance efficiency, stakeholder experience, and measurable results across departments.
- Prioritise and manage improvement activities across functional areas, supporting all business divisions in achieving operational excellence.
- Oversee improvement projects, facilitate cross-functional teams, maintain project timelines and deliverables, and ensure return on investment.
- Counsel senior leadership with analysis and strategic recommendations on performance and process matters.
- Coach and support project teams and departments in implementing improvements and sustaining performance gains.
- Engage with stakeholders to allocate resources, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and track key metrics and project progress.
- Detect performance gaps, communicate findings transparently, and guide remedial actions.
- Review completed initiatives to capture best practices and extract lessons learned for wider application.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience; an MBA or MHA is highly desirable.
- At least 6 years' experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, or closely related process improvement work, preferably within healthcare.
- Solid knowledge of process mapping, design approaches, statistical methods, and project management software.
- LEAN or Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification (preferred).
- Background in healthcare administrative workflows—such as claims processing, authorisation, eligibility checks, or provider data exchange—is advantageous.
