Senior AI Product Manager – Product & Experience

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services consultancy seeking a Senior AI Product Manager to join their Product & Experience practice. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in London for professionals who want to shape AI-enabled products that drive real commercial impact across regulated industries.

Our client works at the intersection of product strategy, emerging AI capabilities, and complex regulatory environments. You'll translate GenAI, agentic systems, and ML innovations into production-ready solutions that improve customer outcomes and create measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead product engagements across client teams, embedding AI into both product strategy and delivery workflows
• Define and deliver AI-native product strategies, including value propositions, roadmaps, and commercialisation models
• Own products end-to-end from discovery through delivery and iteration, incorporating rapid experimentation, prototyping, and AI-assisted development
• Identify, shape, and prioritise AI/GenAI/agentic/ML use cases and translate them into scalable product features with measurable business outcomes
• Partner closely with data science and engineering teams to bring ML models and AI systems into production, balancing performance, risk, and cost
• Champion responsible AI by embedding governance, explainability, and regulatory considerations into product design and lifecycle
• Mentor and lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of experimentation, learning, and AI fluency
• Operate as an AI-enabled Product Manager yourself, leveraging modern AI tooling to accelerate discovery, decision-making, and delivery

What We're Looking For

Essential experience and skills:

• Proven track record developing and delivering digital products/portfolios across B2B, B2C, or B2B2C contexts within financial services
• Deep knowledge in one or more domains: retail banking, commercial banking, wealth management, asset management, capital markets, investment banking, insurance, or energy
• Demonstrated experience building or scaling AI, data, or platform-enabled products, including exposure to GenAI or LLM-based applications
• Ability to define and deliver AI-driven use cases that create measurable impact in revenue, efficiency, or engagement
• Strong leadership skills working with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders
• Track record driving commercial impact, with experience in user adoption, value creation, and sustainable growth
• Experience working with data-led or platform products
• Understanding of AI, GenAI, or agentic AI concepts and their product applications

Bonus qualifications:

• Consulting experience within highly regulated industries
• Experience with agentic AI systems, copilots, or workflow automation products
• Familiarity with AI governance, model risk management, and regulatory expectations in financial services
