About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential forensic consulting organization in their search for a Senior Accident Reconstruction Engineer. Our client provides technical and scientific expertise to organizations navigating complex litigation and high-stakes matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging reconstruction cases while developing your expert witness capabilities in a collaborative environment.
Our talent team is hiring for multiple locations across the United States, including Charlotte, NC, Miami, FL, and Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities
- Manage accident reconstruction projects from investigation through expert testimony
- Conduct unbiased field investigations and scientific testing of incidents and loss events
- Deliver technical findings, analysis, and conclusions in written reports and verbal presentations using clear, accessible language
- Travel for inspections, field work, and client meetings as needed
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with current and prospective clients
- Mentor and train junior engineers on reconstruction methodologies and best practices
- Maintain communication with clients and project teams regarding project status and scope
- Stay current with technical developments through continuing education, professional publications, and industry organizations
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and project delivery goals
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of post-academic engineering experience in accident reconstruction
- Foundation of testifying experience as an expert witness
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing technical reports
- Proven organizational skills and ability to deliver results while managing teams
- Mathematical aptitude and technological proficiency with ability to adapt quickly to new scenarios
- Proficiency with reconstruction software and technical systems
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the United States
- Ability to work remotely with reliable cellular service and high-speed internet access
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within one year
- ACTAR certification or ability to obtain within one year
- Master's degree in Engineering

Pay
The employer has indicated a salary range of $100,000 to $180,000 based on experience, skillset, location, and scope of responsibility. Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process.
