Revenue Accountant

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a fast-growing open source technology company in their search for a Revenue Accountant. This EMEA-based role offers the opportunity to work with a globally distributed team on critical financial processes as the organization prepares for significant growth milestones.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with IFRS 15 expertise to join a finance team that values innovation, process improvement, and professional development. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition while contributing to broader financial transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate financial information
• Take full ownership of a designated portion of the revenue recognition process
• Assist with year-end audit procedures and statutory reporting requirements
• Contribute to the finance team's preparation for public market readiness
• Drive improvements in financial processes and procedures while monitoring compliance
• Share knowledge across the team to ensure adequate coverage and capability development
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CPA, or similar)
• Demonstrated experience with IFRS 15 or ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
• Strong academic track record and proven career performance
• Experience at a large public accounting firm or public multinational corporate accounting department preferred
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to four times per year for team meetings
• Passion for process improvement and contributing ideas in a collaborative environment

Location & Work Arrangement

This role is available as either office-based in London or remote within EMEA time zones. The position involves twice-yearly in-person team meetings at various locations.
