Responsibilities
We are representing a client seeking an experienced SAP CPI Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integration scenarios connecting SAP S/4HANA and other SAP applications with non-SAP, third-party, and cloud-based systems. You will own the full integration lifecycle from requirements analysis and interface design through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and post-go-live support.
In this role, you will partner with functional consultants, enterprise architects, and integration partners to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable integration solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing iFlows, implementing Groovy and Java scripting, configuring CPI adapters, and applying integration patterns and middleware concepts to solve complex business challenges.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of SAP integration experience, with at least 3 years on SAP Integration Suite / CPI
- Strong hands-on experience with iFlow development, Groovy/Java scripting, and a wide range of CPI adapters
- Solid understanding of integration patterns and middleware concepts
- Experience with SAP API Management and event-driven architectures
- Working knowledge of SAP PI/PO; prior experience migrating PI/PO interfaces to CPI is highly desirable
- Familiarity with security standards including OAuth2, SAML, and certificate-based authentication
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Experience working in S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or Concur integration scenarios
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
- SAP-certified Integration Suite or CPI developer credentials
- Hands-on experience with SAP Event Mesh and SAP Advanced Event Mesh
- Exposure to SAP BTP development and CAP framework
- Familiarity with non-SAP integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi)
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD for SAP Integration Suite content transports
