Robotics for Kids Instructor

Impact Kids in Glendale, Milwaukee County is hiring a Robotics for Kids Instructor to lead engaging, hands-on robotics education in our enrichment programs serving schools across the country.

Role Overview

For more than a decade, Impact Kids has been providing safe, meaningful enrichment programs to students at schools nationwide. We're looking for an experienced Robotics for Kids Instructor to join our Glendale team in a full-time position. In this role, you'll inspire young learners to discover their passion for engineering and problem-solving through interactive robotics instruction in our before, during, and after-school programs. Your work will help students develop critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative skills in a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

What You'll Do

• Teach robotics and engineering concepts to students at partner public and private schools
• Design and deliver hands-on projects that engage students in building, coding, and problem-solving
• Create an inclusive, collaborative classroom where every student feels safe and motivated to participate
• Guide students through engineering challenges that encourage experimentation and creative thinking
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs and ability levels
• Maintain robotics equipment and create an organized, well-resourced learning environment

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience teaching robotics, STEM, or engineering to student groups
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and make learning engaging for young audiences
• Proven skill in classroom management and fostering a positive, inclusive community
• Comfort with robotics equipment, educational technology, and problem-solving approaches
• Passion for inspiring students and helping them build confidence in STEM subjects
• Adaptable, patient teaching style that responds to varied learning paces and needs
