Soccer Coach

Join Impact Kids as a full-time Soccer Coach in Woodstock, McHenry County, and make a meaningful impact on young athletes' development both on and off the field. We're seeking an experienced, passionate coach dedicated to building confident, skilled players in a supportive and inclusive environment.

About the Role

As a Soccer Coach at Impact Kids, you'll lead youth soccer programs delivered through our before-school, during-school, and after-school offerings. You'll design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction that develops fundamental skills, tactical understanding, and a genuine love of the game for players at all ability levels.

What You'll Do

• Plan and conduct soccer practice sessions with clear learning objectives and progressive drills
• Lead games and friendly matches, emphasizing skill development and positive team dynamics
• Assess individual player progress and provide constructive, encouraging feedback
• Create an inclusive, supportive environment where every young athlete feels challenged and valued
• Communicate regularly with parents and school partners about program updates and player development
• Maintain coaching equipment and program materials in safe, usable condition
• Model positive behavior, strong sportsmanship, and a growth mindset at all times

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience coaching youth soccer or playing competitively
• Strong communication and motivational abilities with diverse age groups
• Current or ability to obtain soccer coaching certification (USSF, NSCAA, or equivalent)
• Current or ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
• Reliability, enthusiasm, and commitment to youth development and safety
• Flexibility to work morning, midday, and after-school program times as needed
