About the Role

As an RN Traveler with Solutions by Sanford, you'll work 12-hour night shifts in our obstetrics unit at Bismarck Medical Center, located in Medina, Stutsman County. This full-time assignment provides the flexibility and variety that travel nursing offers, allowing you to serve diverse patient populations while growing your professional skills in a specialty setting.

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct patient care to expectant mothers, laboring patients, and postpartum mothers in a fast-paced, supportive environment
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor and delivery
• Assist with labor induction, augmentation, and pain management techniques
• Provide postpartum and newborn care, including patient education on breastfeeding and newborn care
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and electronic health records
• Support patients and families during one of life's most significant moments

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure in North Dakota (or ability to obtain licensure)
• Previous experience in obstetrics, labor and delivery, or postpartum nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to thrive in a night shift environment and work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Flexibility and adaptability for travel nursing assignments
