About the Role
As an RN Traveler in the Critical Care CVICU, you will deliver high-acuity bedside care to cardiovascular intensive care patients within UCHealth's Cardiovascular ICU department. This is a full-time, day-shift assignment built for adaptable critical care nurses who thrive in fast-paced cardiac environments.
- Employment type: Full-time, 72.00 hours per pay period (two weeks)
- Shift: Days
- Assignment length: 13-week contracts available
- Compensation: $50.00 per hour, plus travel package and stipend
- Local Traveler contract options available for nurses residing within 75 miles
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU
- Monitor, assess, and respond to the complex needs of cardiac intensive care patients
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate safe, patient-centered treatment plans
- Document patient status and interventions accurately and in a timely manner
- Adapt quickly to UCHealth protocols and workflows as a traveling team member
Qualifications
- Active Colorado (CO) RN license
- Critical care nursing experience, ideally within a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) setting
- Availability to commit to a 13-week, full-time day-shift assignment
- Strong clinical judgment and the flexibility expected of a travel RN
