About the Role
As a Ground Service Equipment Mechanic with Signature Aviation, you will be responsible for the upkeep and dependability of the equipment that supports daily flight operations. Based on-site in Dulles Town Center, Loudoun County, you will diagnose mechanical issues, complete repairs, and make sure every piece of equipment is ready when the team needs it.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance on the ground support equipment used across operations.
- Identify faults, then repair or fully overhaul equipment to return it to service.
- Replenish and service equipment with fuel, water, oil, and hydraulic fluid as required.
- Use diagnostic test equipment and manufacturer manuals to pinpoint problems accurately.
- Assemble and build machines and mechanical components according to specification.
Qualifications
- Practical experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical or ground support equipment.
- Confidence working with diagnostic test equipment and technical service manuals.
- Working knowledge of fuel, hydraulic, lubrication, and cooling systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a steady commitment to safe working practices.
- Ability to perform hands-on mechanical work in a fast-paced operational setting.
