As a Case Manager at the Rising Up Men's Shelter in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, you will be a frontline source of support for clients living in a structured, therapeutic, and drug-free residential setting. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Brooklyn.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusting relationships with shelter residents and conduct individual case management within a safe, supportive environment.
- Assess each client's situation and develop practical plans aimed at stabilization and a successful transition to permanent housing.
- Connect residents to the wraparound services available across CAMBA's programs, including mental health and substance use supports.
- Maintain accurate, timely case records and documentation in line with program standards.
- Help sustain a structured, therapeutic, and drug-free atmosphere throughout the facility.
Qualifications
- Genuine commitment to serving homeless and vulnerable adult men with compassion and respect.
- Experience or strong interest in case management, social services, or shelter-based work.
- Comfort supporting clients experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.
- Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
