About the Role

This position focuses on providing comprehensive support to clients with co-occurring mental illness and chemical abuse (MICA) diagnoses. Working within Atlantic House Men's Shelter, you'll be part of a treatment team committed to meeting clients where they are and fostering pathways to independence and wellbeing.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct intake assessments and evaluate client needs related to mental health, substance use, and housing stability
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with the clinical team
  • Provide direct client support, including crisis intervention and peer mentoring
  • Coordinate referrals and connections to community resources, treatment programs, and social services
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and service delivery
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and program improvement
  • Help clients build life skills, access employment and education resources, and achieve personal goals
