Resident Engineer

What This Role Involves

• Overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues early in the construction process.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed reports and documentation related to construction activities.
• Coordinating with project stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and clients to resolve any issues that may arise.
• Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily construction activities to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and subcontractors.
• Review and approve construction plans and specifications to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Inspect materials and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to the project manager and stakeholders.

Who We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and methods.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
