About the Role
Berry Street is seeking licensed Registered Dietitians (RD) and Certified Nutrition Specialists (CNS) to provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and support to patients who need professional nutrition guidance. As an independent contractor, you'll have complete control over your availability—work as much or as little as you'd like while helping expand access to quality nutrition services.
What You'll Do
- Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) assessments and personalized nutrition interventions
- Develop evidence-based nutrition care plans tailored to patient health goals and chronic conditions
- Conduct nutrition counseling sessions with patients managing disease, weight, and metabolic health
- Document patient progress, outcomes, and medical nutrition records accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient nutritional outcomes
- Stay current with clinical nutrition guidelines and evidence-based best practices
What We're Looking For
- Active license as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) in any U.S. state
- Strong clinical knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and nutrition assessment methods
- Excellent communication skills and genuine empathy for patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
- Comfort delivering nutrition counseling virtually and using digital health platforms
- Entrepreneurial approach to expanding professional nutrition access
