About the Role

As a Relationship Banker I, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the Providence Branch, helping them with everyday banking needs while identifying opportunities to introduce additional products and services. This part‑time position supports the branch’s goal of delivering personalized, friendly service that builds long‑term customer loyalty.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers promptly and assess their banking requirements
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other routine transactions accurately
• Open new checking, savings, and certificate of deposit accounts following bank procedures
• Explain Regions Bank products such as credit cards, personal loans, and mortgage options to help customers meet financial goals
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of current promotions, rates, and compliance guidelines
• Resolve basic service issues or refer more complex concerns to the appropriate specialist
• Keep the teller line and customer service area organized, secure, and welcoming
• Participate in branch‑level sales initiatives and track progress toward individual and team targets
• Adhere to all security, confidentiality, and regulatory policies in every interaction

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer‑service environments
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, communicate clearly, and build rapport
• Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash and financial documents
• Reliability and flexibility to work a part‑time schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends
• Proficiency with standard office software and a willingness to learn internal banking systems
• A proactive attitude toward identifying customer needs and suggesting appropriate solutions
