About the Role

As a Relationship Banker I, you are the face of Regions Bank at our Clarksville location. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying their financial needs and recommending tailored products and services. This role combines client relationship management with transaction processing and sales, offering a dynamic environment where your interpersonal skills directly impact customer satisfaction and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with personal and business banking customers
• Conduct account openings, process transactions, and handle customer inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
• Identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products including checking, savings, lending, and investment services
• Meet individual and team sales targets for deposits, loans, and other bank products
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, federal regulations, and anti-money laundering standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all customer interactions

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred)
• 1–2 years of customer service or banking experience, or equivalent transferable experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build rapport
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer relationships in a fast-paced environment
• Sound financial knowledge and ability to explain banking concepts clearly
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in transaction processing
• Knowledge of banking regulations, privacy laws, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with banking software systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
