Regional Sales Lead (West Texas)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential agtech client seeking a Regional Sales Lead to manage and develop a field sales team across West Texas. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend the majority of your time coaching Territory Managers in the field, driving regional revenue performance, and building a high-performing sales culture.

Ideal candidates will be based in or near Midland, Lubbock, San Angelo, or Abilene and comfortable with frequent travel (approximately 60% of the time). You'll be joining customer visits, modeling best practices, maintaining rigorous pipeline discipline, and ensuring your team executes with consistency and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Territory Managers through in-field coaching, ongoing feedback, role-plays, and hands-on sales training to strengthen execution and skill development
• Own regional revenue performance by driving consistent activity, supporting new sales and account expansion, and ensuring team members meet input and output targets
• Maintain strong CRM hygiene and forecasting discipline, reviewing pipelines weekly, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing deal support on structure and critical opportunities
• Serve as the regional voice to internal teams, surfacing customer insights, product feedback, and operational issues to cross-functional stakeholders
• Translate national strategy into regional execution plans, run regular team rhythms (1:1s, check-ins), and align with commercial leadership on performance and priorities
• Recruit and develop high-performing sales talent as the organization scales rapidly

What We're Looking For

• Proven frontline sales leadership: Experience leading and developing field sales representatives in high-growth or high-velocity environments with a track record of coaching reps to improve performance
• Field-first mindset: Comfortable spending most of your time on the road, joining customer visits, and staying deeply connected to real-world customer challenges
• Sales process expertise: Proficiency in modern sales methodologies (consultative/challenger selling, discovery techniques, role-plays) and the ability to coach others to mastery
• Operational rigor: Strong discipline with CRM management, pipeline oversight, input metrics, and forecasting accuracy
• Direct, supportive leadership style: Built on clarity, accountability, empathy, and high support—someone who sets high expectations while building strong team culture
• Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic, evolving environments; resourceful and motivated by building systems and processes in a rapidly scaling business
